"Bread Way to Table" is on Wednesdays, begins at 10 am, duration 2 - 2,5 hours, price for children- 5 Lt, adults-  10 Lt. Guide- senior museologist A. Razmislaviciene. Booking in advance by telephone (8~319) 52025.

Theatrical program is adapted for visitors of different ages. Visitors are involved in the bread baking process and bread honor ritual.

It is practical cognitive program pursued in environment similar to authentic our region peasant‘s house of 19 century. Museum employees delivering the lecture exemplify peasants' traditions and customs with their outfit, action and language. Visitors not only can watch the bread baking process but also assist: they form by themselves the bread loaf, bake it and they leave the museum with their OWN BREAD.

While the bread is baking students learn about the long way of bread: from rye sowing to baked bread on the table. They also can see old agricultural implements, utensils, try to grind down ryes with edge stone, hear about belief of magic bread power conditioning the harvest, people and family life.

Tasks are picked up according to schoolchildren age and help to understand respect to bread and it holiness.

Theatrical program is adapted for visitors of primary and junior classes. Performance happens in the environment of peasant house and the process of flax works is shown.

"Weave and Wind, My Hands" -  happens on Thursdays, duration 1-1,5 hours,  price for children- 2 Lt, adults- 4 Lt. Guide- Marija Sniokiene.  Booking in advance by telephone (8~319) 603791.

Educational program „Weave and Wind, My Hands" invites students, teachers and others who are interested in this to find out the old craft- weaving.

Performance goes on in the authentic environment where it is possible to see weaving tools and weaving ways. You will learn about Lithuanian national belts, try to weave a strip, also to try spinning tool.

"Independence Fights: Volunteers and Partisans of Prienai Region" -  duration 1-1,5 hours, designated for schoolchildren of 5-10 classes, price- 2 Lt. Guide- senior museologist A. Razmislaviciene. Booking in advance by telephone (8~319) 52025.

During the program schoolchildren do the museum and with the help of tasks they understand the spirit of independence fights, also are acknowledged with our region fighters for freedom.
