Expositions

At the Museum stored museum pieces are presented in such expositions of:

• ethnography;
• folk art;

• the most famous brothers- travelers and fathers of cooperation in Lithuania- in memory room of Matas and Petras Salciai;
• international linguist Jonas Kazlauskas;

• priest Juozas Zdebskis,
• Cezar Psemenecki;
• Lithuanian culture spreader doctor Juozas Brundza.

Ethnography exposition contains ancient things, tools used for utensils, flax treatment, spinning and weaving, agricultural implements. The old village house environment is shown in the separate hall.

Folk art museum pieces point to creation and invention of our region folk artists.

Region history exposition is full of material of Independence fights, our region partisans' activity, fate of exiles, Revival moments.

Sacramental exposition is interesting for its old church attribution, ancient prayer books, church books, material about eminent priests.

In writers room it is possible to get to know our region word masters.

In cultural and educational exposition there are famous educators.

Scientific and art characters exposition includes material about brightest and creative region people.

Exposition of the most famous persons of our region presents their creation, scientific works, photographs, other interesting museum pieces.
