Friends of the Museum

The Museum of Prienai Region collaborates with district and town schools:

• Prienai ,,Revuona" Secondary School,
• Prienai ,,Nemunas" Primary School,
• Prienai District Balbieriskis Secondary School.

At the museum the vocal group "Marginys" exists. Singers attend rehearsals every week; participate at museum events and holidays.

The club "Gabija" of region artists unifies people who create literature.  The museum together with the club "Gabija" organizes joint events, projects.

Museum employees are waiting for visitors and ready to introduce them with the culture heritage of Prienai region. Usually the Museum is attended by schoolchildren but also is interesting for people from the whole republic. The Museum was visited by delegacies from Latvia, Poland, USA, Austria, France, Germany, Scotland, Czechia, Japan, Italy and other countries.
