The exposition of legendary Lithuanian partisan Juozas Luksa- Daumantas contains the material, documents, photographs, books telling his heroic sacrifice in the name of Lithuania. There are also valuable museum pieces- his wife Nijole Brazenaite- Luksiene given picture, which she has got from her husband on the occasion of their marriage, his brother Antanas Luksa given portrait where J.Luksa- Daumantas is painted by painter Antanas Racas; Marija Lisinskiene gave us triptych “Partisans’ Mothers” painted by painter Magdalena Stankuniene etc.
In the exposition there is also some material and museum pieces about J.Luksa-Daumantas brother partisan Povilas Peciulaitis- Lakstingala.
At the museum hall the video material is showing, educational session on topic of partisans’ fights history are going on. Here it is possible to arrange history lessons, seminars and various events.
The exposition in this subdivision of the Museum of Prienai Region is completed in 2008; the author of this show is painter Arturas Kaminskas. Plenty of material for exposition is given by President of Prienai division of State Prisoners and Exiles Union Dalyte Raslaviciene.
