The museum was set up in 1971 at the native house of poet, prosaic, dramatist, literary historian, professor Vincas Mykolaitis- Putinas. In the house you can see reestablished environment of writer’s childhood, family furniture, photographs and books.

Near the native house there is Ausrakalnis- thyme-scented and beautiful hill described by Putinas.

Native house of V. Mykolaitis- Putinas is handled by relatives of poet.
