Christmas cuttings

Educational activity:

Paper cuttings can be used to decorate your home on Christmas. This educational activity will introduce you to the traditions, techniques and peculiarities of cutting paper designs in Prienai Region. You will learn what functions these cuttings used to serve. Those who have more than one-year experience with cuttings will be able to improve their skills in cutting paper designs, broaden their knowledge in this craft, conserving the cultural heritage of their region and at the same time revealing the individuality, particularity and technical mastery of their own. All you will need for this is paper, a cutter or scissors and a design of your desirable Christmas cutting.
