In search of old Prienai…

The secrets of the history of the Prienai Region, where the borders of Suvalkija and Dzūkija meet… Who are we? When and how did we come here, on both sides of the River Nemunas? The site of the old castle, the mansion, the famous seventeenth-century paper workshop of Prienai. The romanticism of old Prienai streets, namely the monument to Grand Duke Kęstutis, the Goldberg beer brewery, the cinema “Palás”, printing houses, bookshops, banks… People from our region, and our memories… You will visit great historical buildings, such as the Church of the Epiphany in Prienai, the monument to the Lithuanian Grand Duke Kęstutis, the Greimų Bridge, the synagogue etc.

Day before public holidays, the museum closes 1 hour earlier.
