One of the most anticipated and popular summer holidays in Lithuania is St. John’s Day, otherwise known as the Dew Holiday, Rasa and Kupolė. The shortest night of the summer is full of fun and merriment, spells and ceremonies. During educational activity you will learn about the customs of St. John’s Day, doming, spells, and sacrifices for Thunder. We will remember how to weave a wreath from the verdures. This is a great emotional charge while waiting for St. John’s Day!

• St. Easter (Sunday and Monday).

• Mother’s Day on the first Sunday in May
• The first Sunday in June – Father’s Day
• June 24th. – St. John’s Day (Dew and Midsummer’s Day)
• July 6th – Statehood Day (Coronation of King Mindaugas)
• August 15th. – Assumption day (Day of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin)
• November 1st. – All Saints Day
• December 24th. – Christmas Eve
• December 25 – 26. Christmas

 

Day before public holidays, the museum closes 1 hour earlier.
